Christmas Cookie Confession

The Christmas Cookie Gospel

For God loved the world in this way, He gave His One and Only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.

During our family time last night, we told the Christmas story through John 3:16, complete with cookie visual aids!

The heart represents how God loves the world, and you and me. The beginning of the Gospel is God’s love. We would not exist without it! God’s love is the reason for it all. No matter who you are or where you have been, God loves you.

The Christmas tree showcases God giving His One and Only Son, Jesus. Christmas is the coming of Christ into the world and our lives so we would be able to personally know God. Christmas is the way God loved us. He gave us Himself.

The cross is the culmination of Christmas, what completes Christ’s love. Jesus came to take our place and pay the penalty for all of our wrongdoing. The cross is our bridge to a friendship with the God who loves us.

Jesus died so we could live. The angel reminds us that when we believe in Jesus’ work on the cross, we will not perish but instead spend our eternity with God in heaven.

As you can see, we found this Christmas cookie message to be worth savoring!

Lauren enjoyed each of the John 3:16 Christmas cookies!
