Christmas Countdown Day 2 focused on God’s kingdom. The prophet Isaiah wrote of a coming king who would rule and bring peace. Jesus is that king, our wonderful counselor, mighty God, everlasting father and prince of peace! We made crown ornaments for our trees, wore crowns and talked about Jesus wanting to reign in our hearts. Lauren in particular loved jumping up and down shouting, “Jesus rules!”
