Christmas Countdown Day 4 focused on the angel Gabriel. Gabriel knew how to make a statement when God sent him to share a message. Today we read the story of Gabriel coming to Mary to tell her she would have a baby who would be the Son of God. What an amazing, incredible message! After making angel ornaments for our trees, the kids decided they would act out the story. Lauren was thrilled to be Mary, and Jackson stood proudly to proclaim that God had chosen Mary to be Jesus’ mom on Earth. Just as God sent Gabriel, He also sends us to share His message with the world. Christmas is such a wonderful time to spread God’s hope and grace.
