Christmas Countdown Day 7 focused on song. When God confirmed to Mary that she was indeed pregnant with Jesus, as her cousin Elizabeth exclaimed that her own baby was leaping for joy in their presence, Mary could no longer contain her praise. Her heart burst into song! Our ornaments tonight were made of decorated old CDs. Glue was used in abundance! Then we expressed our praise to God by singing and dancing along with some of our favorite praise songs on YouTube. We finished our time in prayer, thanking God for the song He put in Mary’s heart, and the songs He places in ours.
