Zephaniah 3:17 promises rest and rejoicing. Calm and calling out. Peace and praise.

God knows we need both.

He is our warrior, who fights for us. He rejoices over us, and isn’t quiet about it. He is glad we are His! He doesn’t regret making and saving us. He delights in us, and openly shouts His joy!

In the midst of His celebration, God also brings quietness with His love. God’s sweet whispers shut out the world’s noise. His presence brings peace. God is with us, through it all. His faithfulness and goodness steadies and anchors our lives.

Love is quiet and loud. And, God loves us to the extreme.
