For when life is good — for when life doesn’t turn out the way we thought it should — for times of celebration — and times of desperation — Jesus is our rock, our firm foundation, our strong right arm, and our refuge. Be reminded and encouraged today:

God is good. God’s goodness doesn’t change when things get bad. He is still good.

God loves me. And, God loves you. End of story.

Jesus’s sacrifice on the cross is big enough for your sin yesterday, your sin today, and your sin tomorrow.

You cannot go so far that God’s grace cannot reach.

We are not perfect. God is perfect. We are not God. So, with humility, and only in His strength, can we pursue His commands and calling.

God’s salvation is not dependent on our goodness. It rests entirely in His.

God’s Word is always true, and can always be trusted.

Grace and truth only come through Jesus Christ. We must seek Jesus in order to walk in both.

When it comes down to it, there is nothing we need more than Jesus.

No matter the detour, our mission is the same: Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations.
