We live in a broken and dark world. I know it. You know it. These last few days have been filled with disbelief, pain, anger, and sorrow. I’ve had many thoughts of what I’d like to see happen, and solutions and actions to end this insanity.

But if we really want to see change, we have to be willing to go to the root. And here it is: Each of us desperately need the Gospel and grace of Jesus Christ. It’s not just the world that’s broken, I’m broken. And so are you. We’ve lived apart from God, we’ve tried to do it our own way, we’ve all sinned. And that sin separates us from God. It’s why we are where we are.

Yet, Jesus loved us too much to leave us this way. Jesus loves you, and He proved it by living the life we couldn’t, and taking the punishment of our sin on the cross. He died to save us and set us free. And He rose from the dead to give us life and purpose.

We just have to be humble and accept it. We must admit we’ve sinned and ask for God’s forgiveness, believe that Jesus died and rose again, and invite Him into our life as Savior and Lord.

Why wouldn’t you want to give your life to Jesus? What reason is there to not pray and get right with God in this very moment?

Believing in Jesus is what changes the brokenness of this world, one life at a time. He is our only hope.

Stop delaying. Stop fighting. Surrender to Jesus. Right now.

Step out in faith to experience the light and peace only God can bring.

Pray this from your heart:
God, I come to you right now, and I admit what I’m trying to do isn’t working. I’ve sinned against you and I need you. Please forgive me. I believe that Jesus came for me, and He died on the cross and He rose from the dead to give me new life. I accept that gift right now. I give you my life, and I want you to be in charge from now on. My hope and trust is in you. In Jesus name, Amen.

Jesus is the answer. And if you just prayed and gave Him your life, I’m celebrating with you. Following Jesus is what truly matters, and His love is the only thing that can save this broken world. We all desperately need the Gospel and Grace of Jesus Christ.
