In Christian circles, many people have life verses. I don’t. God has spoken to me in so many different ways at different times in my life through His Word. I just can’t choose! As He shapes me, different parts of His letter to me come alive and speak truth, comfort, challenge, conviction and direction…sometimes all at once!

This is the scripture that God recently revealed again to me:

Ephesians 4:1-3 
Therefore I, a prisoner for serving the Lord, beg you to lead a life worthy of your calling, for you have been called by God.  Always be humble and gentle. Be patient with each other, making allowance for each other’s faults because of your love.  Make every effort to keep yourselves united in the Spirit, binding yourselves together with peace.

Knowing that Jesus has intentions in my life with these Words is so exciting and humbling. I’ll admit it’s intimidating, too, because these are not easy words. I’m glad God is in control.
