Christmas Countdown Day 10 focused on dreams. When Joseph, a righteous man, didn’t know what to do about his pregnant fiance, an angel met him in a dream to give him counsel. He received the encouragement and direction he needed while he was asleep. And when he woke up, he didn’t sit around and ponder its meaning. Joseph got up and obeyed. He had heard the Lord’s command, and the name he was to give his adopted son, and he determined to follow. To help us remember Joseph’s dream, the kids sewed together pillow ornaments. Then we got out pillows and blankets, and Jackson and Lauren pretended to dream while I read again what the angel said. Finally we prayed and asked God to help us to listen and obey right away like Joseph.
