
In just a week or two, all the gorgeous fall foliage will be at the forest floor surrounding our home, but for now, it is impossible not to look up and drink in the scenery. The sky drips with yellow, orange, red and tips of green.
Without death, this beauty wouldn’t be. The leaves must wither and lose the life inside of them so the tree will survive the winter.
Fall never fails to remind me of Jesus.
Of how He was lifted up. How the colors of His life flowed from His hands and feet. How death could be so beautiful to a broken, desperate, ruined person like me.
You and I cannot survive without His sacrifice.
